History

Mr. Kyriakopoulos represents injury victims in a variety of complex cases. He prosecutes claims against negligent individuals, governmental agencies, corporations, and insurance companies. He recognizes that his clients are looking for straightforward answers to the difficult questions raised by life-changing incidents. Many of Nick’s clients are referred to him by other attorneys, or by former clients or their family members, who recognize his dedication and outstanding results.

Nick grew up in Holt, MI. After high school, he went on to run track at the NCAA level at Albion College. He graduated from Albion College with high honors and then graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2012. While at the University of Michigan, he worked as a student attorney representing at-risk children in Flint, MI.  Upon graduating from law school, he began practicing law at an international law firm specializing in corporate litigation. In 2015, Nick joined the largest personal injury law firm in Michigan, devoting one hundred percent of his practice to helping injury victims. In 2017, Nick joined LaKritz Law, a preeminent personal injury law firm located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Barry F. LaKritz and LaKritz Law maintain their affiliation with Mr. Kyriakopoulos and are of counsel to his Firm.

Nick’s background is extremely diverse, as he has litigated a variety of cases throughout the state of Michigan in state and federal court. He is an advocate of the Michigan Traffic Improvement Association of Michigan, which seeks to raise awareness about the risks of distracted driving and to prevent injuries and fatalities on the road.

Mr. Kyriakopoulos was selected to the 2024 Michigan Super Lawyers list, which is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named Super Lawyers.
